Dead capital August 4, 2006

An example of dead capital. If it went here, or here, this post wouldnt have come up.

Does anybody know what Tirupati does with it all – crores accumulated over the years ? Do they pledge it and put in back into its university and other economic/social activity ? If so, not dead capital afterall.

well, TTD does channelise some of the money to its univ in tirupati and some to its network of colleges in india. the most notable being Venky’s in Delhi.

My grandpa was a prof at SVU, Tirupati. so thats how i know abt the chanelising.

but wud be interesting to have some complete accounts of all religious bodies in India…
